ABOUT US
In 1952, a vision began to take shape in the heart of St. Boniface, Winnipeg, when a group of dedicated community members came together to create a space that would soon become the cornerstone of their neighbourhood. Their dream was simple but profound: to establish a place where the community could unite, grow, and thrive as one. And thus, Archwood Community Centre was born.

The centre's journey started on the grounds of what is now Archwood School, marking its first step in becoming a vital part of the community. Over the years, Archwood moved locations, adapting and expanding to better serve the ever-evolving needs of its residents. In the late 1990s, a significant transformation began, leading to the grand opening of a modernized facility in June 2001. With a rich history of growth and development, Archwood Community Centre continued to fulfill its commitment to the neighbourhood, becoming a beacon of unity, health, and support for all.
Goals
Archwood Community Centre's mission is to serve as a steadfast pillar in St. Boniface, providing a vital space for the community to unite, learn, share, experience, and flourish together. Our commitment is to enrich the community, contributing to a stronger, more vibrant future.
