Facility and Rentals Assistant 

​

Archwood Community Centre is looking for an energetic and organized individual to join our team as a Facility and Rentals Assistant 

​

About the Role:
In this key position, you will be the main point of contact for all hall rental inquiries and bookings. You will work closely with clients, vendors, staff and the board to ensure events run smoothly and the rental process is efficient and professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage hall bookings and rental calendar

  • Coordinate event logistics and communicate with clients before, during, and after events

  • Handle rental agreements, invoices, and payments

  • Address and resolve issues that may arise during events

  • Ensure the facility is properly prepared for each rental

  • Light cleaning duties: changing garbage’s sweeping floors, stocking washrooms , cleaning canteen. 

  • Schedule cleaners in accordance to rental schedule 

  • Ensuring all supplies are stocked and communicating with the board on supplies running low. 

  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and stakeholders

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Problem-solving abilities and the ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Experience with event planning, scheduling software, or facility management is an asset

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

  • Employment is subject to a clear Child Abuse Registry check and police record check

Approx 15 hours / week , Saturday & Sunday - may be more available in the future .
